Introduced in 1948, the Type 356 is on of the world's greatest sport cars during its 15 years of production (until 1965). At the beginning, the engine was derived of Volkswagen for a power of 46hp to evolve to four-cam racing Carrera engine developping 130hp. For the anecdote, the brand Carrera commemorates the Porsche success in the Carrera Panamericana race. More than 76,000 examples were produced, from Coupé to Cabriolet, Speedster and Roadster.

Nice blue with this leather strap for the hood., it would be cool to hit the road at the wheel of this 356C.
