It has just struck me that Steemit is like treasure hunting :)
I think most of us are in it to get our posts on the trending page to find that big treasure. Our search for our next topic is like searching for a treasure map. Many times you will look at the map (Topic) you just found only to realise that it is not a real treasure map. You file it in the "Maybe later" drawer.
And then at last you find the real Treasure Map - a great topic to write about!
Now we start researching the map, and trying to figure out the detail of our posts. More detail goes into selecting the images, and then most importantly choosing the catching subject :)
We go through the detail of the post many times, is this the big one ?
At the end of the day it is not all about the money, I believe that Steemit, brings a lot of new thinking, research and study to all of us. I personally learnt a lot from many people here in the Steemit community from various new subjects as I read a lot of posts.
