🎨 Streetart Luxembourg #14 - "Trumpelmann" 😂🤑😜

This here is something besides the Luxembourg-Color-Super-Series. I still have some more episodes with colors to go. But here is a little special inbetween. It´s as well at the industrial area next to the Service de Sports and the Skatepark Hollerich is in one of the storehouses included. Fantastic place! All the previous Color-Posts are from that place.

This one here made me laugh a lot. Other German speakers would understand it easily but for the others I want to explain the funny word-creation....

1.) There is the German word TÖLPEL. The English translation would be "Dolt", "Dupe" or "Galoot". It´s a person which just stumbles over everything and damages everything by accident, objects or in social manners. That person always says things and stuff, nobody would say out loud and is just like an elephant in the porcelain store. (Another German saying, don´t know if it makes sense in English).

2.) There is the German word TRAMPEL. The English translation would be "Lump", "Hoser" or "Bumpkin". That would be somebody who is just a clumsy clot or oaf. That person is very insensitive, doesn´t directly destroy or hurt other people or things by lousiness or by purpouse but more because of retarted senses of paying attention and awareness.

3.) And there is the German word HAMPELMANN. The English translation would be "Jumping Jack". I think I don´t have to describe what a Jumping Jack is. Or whatever: It´s a funny person who is just jumping around and doing funny and strange and loony things all the time and is as well some kind of crazy and mad or insane but more in a stupidly way without dangerous tendencies. Something like that. You can of course google the three words yourself, it´s just a short my-way-explanation.

4.) what brings us to the conclusion point: The creators of this graffiti combined these three words into a fusion together with the US presidents name Trump and his nice beautiful orange-tomato-face. And a new naming was born: "TRUMPELMANN" .

That means: "TÖLPEL" + "TRAMPEL" + "HAMPELMANN" + "TRUMP" = "TRUMPELMANN"
