Have you ever felt like that one of your blog entries will go viral, and earn you a ton of money, when it really gets no attention at all?
Or, have you ever casually wrote up a story just for the fun of it, and not expecting anything at all, but in the end it is greatly appreciated by the community?
So, why does this happen?
Think about it. How many people are there in the world that deserves to be a celebrities? A lot. In fact, a lot of the celebrities that are currently on the world stage may not have the skills that other non celebrities do.
Everyone's success is subject to some degree of luck.
Your success also depends on subjective opinions of other people. Just because you feel like you deserve to get something, doesn't mean other people think you do as well.
Excellence is subjective, not objective.
Same thing on Steemit, just because you think that your post is great, doesn't mean others need to think so too.
Which brings me to my final point.
