During the Street Art festival Under Pressure, the organizers let large walls to different collectives. We start today with the one done by Le Gentil Crew, a collective based in Montreal. It's hard to say exactly who did what on this mural, but we'll try with pictures of all the details.

On commence aujourd'hui avec celui fait par Le Gentil Crew, collectif basé à Montréal. Difficile de dire exactement qui a fait quoi sur cette murale, mais nous allons essayer avec des photos de tous les détails.

WHO

Le Gentil Crew (The Nice Crew) is a collective from Montreal with Bosny, Crayonpapier, Loopkin, LsnrOne, Maylee Keo, Mshl, Nikki Kuentzle and SBuONe. For this mural, other artists joined the collective to make some triangles. Their murals are easily recognizable thanks to the triangular shape and a limited choice of colors (blue and black in this case).

Le Gentil Crew est un collectif basé à Montréal (voir les membres dans le texte en anglais). Pour cette murale, d'autres artistes se sont joints au collectif pour réaliser quelques triangles. On reconnait facilement leurs murales grâce au découpage de l'espace en triangle et un choix de couleurs restreint.

Bosny, SBuONe & Diane Roe

Born in France, Fabien aka SBuONe moved in Montreal in 2003 to work as graphic designer and photograph. He's also a street artist painting on the walls his animals and zoomorphic characters.

Né en France, Fabien aka SBuONe est arrivé à Montréal en 2003 pour travailler comme graphiste et photographe. Il peint aussi dans la rue avec ses animaux et ces personnages zoomorphiques.

Few information about Bosny but he likes optical illusions. Diane Roe is an artist and educator based in Montreal. More about her on her website dianeroe.net).

Peu d'information sur Bosny mais il adore les illusions optiques. Ses oeuvres faites seulement de points, se révèlent seulement quand on s'en éloigne. Diane Roe est une artiste montréalaise et aussi éducatrice en art. Vous pouvez retrouver plus d'informations sur elle sur son site dianeroe.net).

Maylee Keo
