The photos are from St. Peter's Church located in the Vatican City in Rome. It is the Pope's Church and also the main church of the Roman Catholic faith and an important pilgrimage destination. An incredibly beautiful building, both inside and outside. The photo was taken from the square in front of the church while we were queuing to enter it.
