Crypto degeneracy - 10 years of fumbling bitcoin

In 2014 I discovered Bitcoin after taking it for some farmville game currency. I decided to deep dive after looking into trading online, I figured it would be like playmoney. I listened to 'Let's talk bitcoin' podcasts for 3 days and recognised it was legit!

I bought my first bitcoin for $600 after it had fallen from $1000, I though I got a bargain but it soon dropped to $200!
I told my buddies to buy as I had recently paid for accomodation in London and didn't have much readies, one of my mates bought about 20!

I held my bitcoin and became immersed in the crypto landscape, a real enthusiast, however I exposed myself to other cryptos and bought into the hype trains like 'blackcoin', I managed to buy the top and lose 90% of my bitcoin!!

One day I saw 'steemit' in the top 10 of coin market cap, I checked it out and saw the big rewards! After blogging for a while and getting votes from some big players I amassed a fair few coins, when the market opened for steem I had made around cash worth 5 bitcoins! However I kept it as steem and bitcoin went to the moon, another failure to hodl bitcoin.

I had lent some money to a friend and he paid me back in bitcoin which I held for a few years, it went from 3K to 20K, all safe in my wallet, until I bought into the Elon dogecoin fever and managed to lose most of my last bitcoin. Since then I managed to get some airdrops on Solana and soon lost most of that on NFT's. More airdrops have come but so did pump.fun, I think you know the story.

It's been a long lesson in what happens when you fall for every whim in crypto, now my savings are dwindling and I am still grabbing at straws. Ten years of dabbling and not much show from it, wish me luck and I hope I learn my lessons.
