WHO
Lana Denina aka Miss Lanouch is an artist based in Montreal with Algerian and Beninese origins. She likes in her art to highlight under-represented faces and untold stories.
During the last Mural Festival, the Museum of Jewish Montreal asked her to do a mural, she painted L'Amour de Maman (Mother’s Love) :
"I have always admired women, especially the women in my family and most of all my mother. For this reason, I wanted to create a piece that represents not only women, but their unique strengths. Thus, I have chosen to represent one of the strongest feelings in the world: a mother’s love" - Miss Lanouch (source thesuburban.com)
