La vida es corta, la vida es bella, si uno busca uno encuentra, solamente hay que desearlo de verdad. No pierdas la brújula porque todo lo que piensas, todas tus acciones y las decisiones que tomas te llevan hacia dónde realmente quieres estar, incluso sin darte cuenta, por eso es importante ser agradecido con lo que se te ha dado, y no dejar a personas lastimadas al cruzarte en su camino, así nunca te sentirás culpable o vacío, no hay nada más satisfactorio que tener con quien disfrutar tus logros y estar en paz contigo mismo. Cito los 4 acuerdos de la sabiduría Tolteca:
Nunca supongas nada. No des nada por supuesto. Si tienes dudas, aclararlas. Si sospechas, pregunta. Suponer te hace inventar historias increíbles que sólo envenenan tu alma y que no tienen fundamento.
Se impecable con tus palabras. Lo que sale de tu boca es lo que eres tú. Si no honras tus palabras, no te estás honrando a ti mismo; si no te honras a ti mismo, no te amas. Honrar tus palabras es ser coherente con lo que piensas y con lo que haces. Así consigues ser auténtico y respetable.
Haz siempre lo mejor que puedas. Si siempre haces lo mejor que puedes, nunca podrás recriminarte nada o arrepentirte de algo.
No te tomes nada de manera personal.
Los Cuatro Acuerdos: Un libro de sabiduría tolteca
El echo de pintar para mi es una catarsis, algo que me hace sentir bien, algo que me complementa. Muchas personas me dicen que es una perdida de tiempo y de dinero y que muy probablemente no conseguiré nada de valor pintando, pero necesito hacer esto y no puedo y no quiero parar. He pasado un mal rato, ya saben, de esas veces que te sientes decepcionado por haber confiado en la gente equivocada, por haber hecho mal las cosas en el pasado, por haber tomado malas decisiones, pero aquí estoy intentándolo de nuevo. Quiero seguir pintando para compartir una parte de mi, hasta que algo pase, hasta que esto me lleve a algún lugar. Haber conocido esta comunidad mitiga mi soledad, y de repente estoy conversando con personas increíbles de muchos lugares, hablando de cosas interesantes, proyectos, ideas. Congeniando con gente que ni siquiera habla mi mismo idioma, con otros puntos de vista y sobre todo una visión del futuro que hace unos meses ni siquiera había imaginado. En fin me siento bien, la vida es así, la vida es bella. Gracias.
Life is short, life is beautiful, if one seeks one finds, one only has to really desire it. Don't lose your compass because everything you think, all your actions and the choices you make take you to where you really want to be, even without realizing it, so it's important to be grateful for what you've been given, and not to leave people hurt when you cross your way, so you'll never feel guilty or empty, there is nothing more satisfying than having to enjoy your accomplishments and be at peace with yourself. I quote the 4 agreements of Toltec wisdom:
- Never assume anything. Don't give anything of course. If in doubt, clarify them. If you suspect, ask. Assuming makes you invent incredible stories that only poison your soul and have no foundation.
- Be flawless with your words. What comes out of your mouth is what you are. If you do not honor your words, you are not honoring yourself; If you don't honor yourself, you don't love yourself. To honor your words is to be consistent with what you think and what you do. That's how you get to be authentic and respectable.
- Always do your best. If you always do your best, you can never recriminate anything or regret anything.
- Do not take anything personally.
The fact of painting for me is a catharsis, something that makes me feel good, something that complements me. A lot of people tell me it's a waste of time and money and that I'm most likely not going to get anything of value by painting, but I need to do this and and I don't want to stop. I've had a hard time, you know, of those times you're disappointed to have trusted the wrong people, for having done things wrong in the past, for making bad decisions, but I'm here trying again. I want to keep painting to share you a part of me, until something happens, until this takes me somewhere. Having known this community mitigates my loneliness, and suddenly I'm chatting with amazing people from many places, talking about interesting things, projects, ideas. Connecting with people who don't even speak my same language, with other points of view and especially a vision of the future that a few months ago I hadn't even imagined. Anyway I feel good, life is like that, life is beautiful. Thank you.
