In 1963, Ferrari wanted to replace the 250 GT series by a new model. The 275 GTB was presented at the 1964 Paris Motor Show with the 275 GTS (designed by Pininfarina more luxuous and confortable). The 275 GTB, Gran Turismo Berlinetta, is more a sport car, designed by Scaglietti, the Italian automobile coachbuilding with the test's work of British racer Mike Parkes.
