History of the Citroën DS
The Citroën DS was produced between 1955 to 1975 in different models sedan, wagon, cabriolet... The design was by Flaminio Bertoni, Italian industrial designer and André Lefèbvre, French aeronautical engineer. The big innovative technology on this car was the hydropneumatic self-levelling suspension developed by Paul Magès. Citroën sold 1,455,746 examples and, in September 2009, the DS was named the most beautiful car of all time by Classic & Sports Car magazine.
