At the last BADBADNOTGOOD concert in Montreal (I love this jazz group), as I entered, I noticed the poster but I didn't want to bother with it during the show. But at the end, there was none left...

Last weekend, I read an article about the artist Slep, Sébastien Lépine and the illustration was the poster of the BADBADNOTGOOD concert. I called him in order to know if he had still one poster left. Two hours after, I was buying one for $CA 60, limited to 60 examples.

WHO

Based in Montreal, Sébastien Lépine aka Slep is an artist fond of music and serigraphy. He designs posters for his favorite bands (Broken Bells, Sigur Rós, BADBADNOTGOOD...) without asking permission. Then, he shows up with his posters to present them. In 7 years ago, he received official orders...

He listens to the music in a loop and he puts on paper the idea that come to mind. He scans them and works on computer. The result is 27 x 40 inch silkscreen prints in superimposed colors with deconstructed architectural look.

I love his style. I'm waiting for the frame...

This poster was created for the concert BADBADNOTGOOD March 27th at MTelus (Metropolis), instrumental group from Toronto. They worked with Kendrick Lamar, Tyler The Creator, Ghostface Killah...
